Box Lacrosse
Rep box lacrosse teams u9 to u22
We follow the OLA’s age-appropriate development path from U9 to U22. In the younger divisions (U9 to U13), we emphasize fun, skill-building, and equal playing opportunities. As players advance into U15 and beyond, the focus shifts to advanced skills, team tactics, and competitive play. By U22, players are primed for high-level competition. This ensures every athlete enjoys a journey from learning the game to mastering it, step by step.
Box lacrosse is a version of lacrosse played in hockey rinks on concrete. The season runs from April until the end of July. The end of the season is at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival, which is a provincial tournament for all box teams that qualify.
try lacrosse
Learn-to-Play nights are open to all ages, both boys and girls, who are new to lacrosse. These sessions give absolute beginners a no-pressure way to pick up a stick and learn the basics. Coaches guide participants through fun drills—like passing, catching, and cradling—while fostering a welcoming, social environment. The goal is to let people try the sport, gain confidence, and see if they’d like to join a team or program afterward.
u5 little shooters
We will also be offering a little shooters program for the youngest players. The Little Shooters program is often geared toward the U5 age group, acting as a fun introduction to lacrosse. It’s less about formal competition and more about teaching basic skills—like running, cradling, and passing—through playful activities. It’s designed to foster a love of the game early on, in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Cost $150 for an 8-week program. Eligible players are 3-4 years old (2022 & 2023 for the 2026 season).
U7 Paperweight
The U7 Paperweight division is for 5- and 6-year-olds. It’s still very developmental and non-competitive. Kids in this age group focus on basic motor skills—like running, throwing, and catching—while having fun with the stick and ball. There’s usually no official scoring or standings, although we will be having exhibition games with other centers a few times during the season. It’s all about introducing the game, teamwork, and confidence in a supportive, active environment. This is a full-floor version of the game 5 on 5 with two goalies. It is the introduction to the game with modified contact. Everyone will require full box lacrosse equipment to play. Cost $250 for a 10-week program
